Services: Therapy services are available for children (ages 4–10), adolescents (11–18), and adults (18+). I offer individual, couples, and family therapy in English and/or Tagalog. Sessions are available in person or via telehealth, with flexible session lengths (50–80 minutes) based on clinical needs.

Booking: For clients under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must complete the booking and provide consent prior to the appointment.

Insurance: Direct billing only available with Sun Life, Blue Cross and Greenshield.

Location & Parking: Coping Corner is located in the One Executive Place building on the 7th floor, listed under “Regus” in the directory, in Suite 732. Free parking is available in the “Regus” stalls at the front of the building. The building is locked after 5 PM and on weekends; with these appointments, please kindly wait at the main entrance and the clinician will come out to meet you.

UPDATE: Starting July 1st, therapy session fees will be $220 for 50-minute sessions and $320 for 80-minute sessions. Couples and Family therapy sessions will generally be booked as 80-minute appointments to allow sufficient time for collaborative therapeutic work. If you prefer a 50-minute couples or family session, please contact the clinic in advance, as these appointments require manual scheduling.

Kathlyn (she/her) is the founder of Coping Corner. She is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (with Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (with Distinction) from Yorkville University.

Kathlyn is passionate about creating a warm, inclusive, and affirming space where clients feel safe, heard, and understood. She views therapy as a collaborative and supportive process, meeting individuals where they are while fostering self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful growth. Kathlyn works with clients to better understand how challenges and symptoms impact daily life, helping them build on existing strengths and develop practical coping strategies.

Through Coping Corner, Kathlyn has created a practice grounded in compassion, accessibility, and connection. Inspired by the idea of a “corner” as a place of safety and reflection, her work emphasizes client-centred care that honours each person’s unique experiences, identities, and goals.

Kathlyn works with individuals across the lifespan, supporting children, youth, and adults (ages 5–70). She offers therapy in English and Tagalog (Filipino).
